In order to produce steam in a short time, the water volume is kept as small as possible, and the steam volume is kept large. In counter pressure steam boilers, the flame is separated from the boiler with 2 passes. The flame hitting the back wall comes back towards the front cover and leaves the boiler through the pipes by turning back from the front wall covered with refractory material.
